Just Another Poem About Time
Orange juice and vodka
With a slice of the moon.
Soft-boiled eggs warm
With sea salt and pepper.
You away, voice on the phone
Cracking across distances.
In these simple moments
The future is decided.
With each heartbeat,
A new world blooms.
